JAKARTA – PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) wrapped up the acquisition of 51% of PT Hipernet Indodata (HI), a managed service provider, yesterday (2/6). The transaction clocked up to IDR 335.32 billion in total.
In the information disclosure quoted Friday (3/6), Ranty Astari Rachman, Corporate Secretary of XL Axiata, confirmed that HI’s shareholder structure, as of yesterday (2/6), has changed to EXCL of 51%, PT Mitra Indo Asia of 34.31%, and PT Magna Karya Achipelago of 14.69%.
“The transaction will widen the scope of the products and services offered by the company to the enterprise’s users,” Rachman added.
The acquired shares of HI initially belonged to Bridgefield Prime Investments Pte Ltd, Ameisys Global Technologies Pte Ltd, PT Mitra Indo Asia, and PT Magna Karya Archipelago. In total, there were 2,805 shares involved in the transaction. (LK/ZH)
