JAKARTA – PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) has increased its shareholding in healthcare issuer PT Hermina Medikaloka Tbk (HEAL).
ASII’s Corporate Secretary, Gita Tiffani Boer, stated that the company acquired a total of 1.47 billion HEAL shares. The purchases took place between 9–12 September 2025 via PT Astra Healthcare Indonesia (AHI).
The largest transaction occurred on 12 September, when AHI acquired 1.3 billion HEAL shares through a negotiated deal at a price of IDR 1,850 per share—7% higher than HEAL’s closing price of IDR 1,730.
Gita explained in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that the purpose of the transaction was investment.
Prior to 9 September 2025, ASII already held a 10.42% stake in HEAL through AHI.

Purchased: 163,800,000 shares at IDR 1,683.14 per share

Purchased: 3,642,500 shares at IDR 1,717.14 per share
Total transaction: IDR 6.26 billion
12 September 2025
Purchased: 1,303,228,900 shares at IDR 1,850 per share
Total transaction: IDR 2.41 trillion
In total, AHI spent IDR 2.70 trillion accumulating HEAL shares over the four consecutive trading days.
As of 10:37am WIB on Wednesday (17 September), HEAL’s share price had risen by 0.90% to IDR 1,690 per share during Wednesday’s trading session.
However, shares in the hospital operator Hermina remain down by 1.17% over the past week and 2.32% over the past month. (KR/LM)
