JAKARTA – PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG) has obtained a credit facility totalling IDR 1.43 trillion from PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI).
This facility will be utilised to strengthen the company’s capital requirements in support of its business operations.
In a public disclosure on Friday, 19 September, TAPG’s Corporate Secretary, Joni Tjeng, explained that the credit was channelled through the company’s subsidiary.
Through its subsidiary, TAPG received a Working Capital Loan Facility (Aflopend) amounting to IDR 830 billion and an uncommitted Working Capital Loan Facility of IDR 600 billion from BNI.
Joni emphasised that this loan transaction does not have a significant impact on the company’s operations, legal standing, financial condition, or business continuity. “There is no material impact from this working capital loan transaction,” he stated.
Previously, on 6 August, TAPG also announced the receipt of interim dividend from eight of its subsidiaries.
The dividends were received through TAPG’s controlled entity, PT Agro Multi Persada (AMP). With a 94.93% shareholding in AMP, TAPG is entitled to the majority of the distributed dividends.
The total interim dividends received by AMP from the eight entities amounted to IDR 496.3 billion, with TAPG’s estimated share reaching approximately IDR 470 billion. (YS/LM)
